Alex Cohen is a New York City based DJ and lighting designer. Blending top hits with a new, high energy sound, Alex creates memorable experiences for all on the dance floor.

Raised in the suburbs of New Jersey just outside of New York City, Alex had access to all that the greatest city in the world had to offer. He knew very early on that arts and entertainment needed to be a part of his life. It took what most would describe as the worst time in history (Covid) for Alex to make his break into the nightlife scene.

Using his theatre background to secure work as one of the premiere lighting designers in queer nightlife, Alex made connections and built a reputation of a hardworking, all loving, and driven professional. It was only a matter of time until Alex picked up his first USB and began teaching himself how to DJ.Working side by side with some of the greatest local and international DJs in the field he listened, watched and learned. Soon, Alex was able to land individual gigs that would blossom into a career, affording him the opportunity to play major gigs with some of nightlife's most iconic personalities.

Today, Alex is found playing all across New York City, with tour stops across the country every year. From being named to the NYC nightlife tHOTlist, to playing dance parties and corporate events alike; the unifying force Alex brings to his work is undeniable: Love and High Energy, wherever he goes.
